I have an old Alder friend I visit - she has been coppiced in the past days and now has 18 arms - I climb and lie in her bowl - went there for Spring Equinox - balance - wind, charcoal, the burn and our Mother
Lovely to see you again Gordon 🙂 and wow what a wonderful thing to do! You are so lucky to be able to do that, she sounds like an extraordinary being. I bet she looks amazing too. Some beings have such a wide, deep presence that it is profound meeting them. Thank you much for sharing your friendship. 🥰🙏🏻🌳
Dear Heather thank you so much. I sometimes find myself wondering … “is this too much?” Yet I’m not one for skating the surface and find myself adding more brushstrokes, as it were, to add depth and illumination, or at least, attempting to. And of course being neurodiverse theres the whole ‘special interest’ side and oh my is that hard to put the brakes on sometimes! 😆
There was a time (or two) when I was younger that I thought it would be good to just live in grand isolation but I came to that realise we actually need each other. We’re part of the ecosystem and we’re part of an ecosystem of humans too. Inclusivity, helping each other, healing, … ultimately belonging… it is so important. “Creating community”, thank you, that means a lot to me. ☺️🙏🏻🌳🌏
Yes we do need one another. I don't think I am neurodiverse. I am a Scorpio and so I get very interested and obsessed and want to promote what I am learning about and share it. Always toning that down! I really appreciate when someone else does research and shares it. Sub stack is a great place for that! And I think there's a group of us who are very interested in understanding across differences. And neurodiversity is one I am definitely interested in understanding across. So keep being you and sharing what fascinates you if you want my advice. Often our interests intersect, whatever drives our beautiful curiosities.
Thank you 🙏🏻 Ah a Scorpio, all intensity and passion I assume then. Differences are what make the world so fascinating I think. The day I stop being curious, discovering, learning, wondering and marvelling is the day I will have sprung this mortal coil!
